Sign Language Study Cards 1.0.8

The application provides a comprehensive system for registering and searching sign language components, encompassing the meaning, video, and specific movement characteristics.

Users can efficiently locate registered sign language by utilizing action keywords and video IDs, in addition to the standard semantic search functions characteristic of a conventional dictionary.

• Overview of Usage
  1. Create a New Card
     To begin, access the menu via the button on the left side of the toolbar and select "Create new card."
  2. Enter Meaning
     Click the pencil icon to open the input interface and enter the meaning of the sign language. It is crucial to click the "Done" button to save your entry; failing to do so will result in unsaved changes if you exit prematurely.
  3. Select Characteristics of the Action
     Utilize the centrally located button in the toolbar to designate keywords that reflect action characteristics. Keywords can be chosen from categories such as hands, hand movements, head, face, chest, belly, arms, etc., allowing for specific body parts and movements to be identified. Additionally, users have the flexibility to include any relevant non-listed features as free input keywords.
  4. Register the Video
     Various video-related operations can be accessed via buttons on the far right of the toolbar. The application allows users to record videos directly within it and edit them to retain only pertinent segments. Ensure to save the recorded video before closing the card; it will automatically be stored in your iOS library. Furthermore, videos recorded by other applications can also be imported from your library.
  5. Search Functionality
     Users can initiate searches for cards by selecting from multiple methods using the second button from the right on the toolbar. Searches can be conducted based on "meaning," "features of action," or "video ID."
  6. Data Export/Import
     The data associated with created cards can be exported in XML format. The second button from the left on the toolbar facilitates exporting this data either to the clipboard or as a shareable text file. Additionally, saved files can be converted back into card data when imported by selecting this application upon opening.
